SSH access

SSH remote secure access is the secure way we support to access our systems.

Windows clients

For Windows 2000 things used to be more complicated, but now we have PuTTY SSH. You can find our local user guide at Secure Network Access for Windows.

Recently, Jeroen Tops also wrote a user friendly and screendump rich manual about using your H: disk at home, in Dutch: Toegang tot h: schijf (en t: schijf) vanaf thuis.

MacOS clients

In MacOSX, ssh is a command-line utility just like in any other Unix. Read on about SSH access from Unix systems.

In older versions, NiftyTelnet 1.1 SSH is preferred.
